- What is a POP3 account? Can I check my mail with MS outlook with it?
A POP3 account is a "real" email account. It is one where mail will sit until you download/read it and decide to file it, delete it, or whatever. You can read email at your POP3 account with us using any standard email software such as Eudora MS Outlook, or Netscape Mail. All you have to do is configure the software to download incoming mail from yourdomain.com.
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP Server is your ISP provider (ex: earthlink.net)
and use your username and password that you use for ftp.
